About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Cruise from Shanghai, 72 hour free transit eligible?

Hi I arrive on a flight to Shanghai from HK on the 3rd July at 12 noon, then leave the next day on the 4th July from Shanghai via a cruise for 7 days. Will I need a visa if I hold a UK passport or can I use the 72 hour free transit?

You will only be able to use the Direct Transit (24-hour) program since you are not flying in and out of Shanghai.
