About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

Do I need a visa to China holding Australia passport, if it needed what is the fee?

I stop in Malaysia do you think will be cheaper to apply there?

Yes, you need it. If you apply from Australia, the fee for a single entry is 98.5 Australian dollars. If you apply from Malaysia, the fee is 188.3 Malaysian Ringgit for a single entry. Comparatively speaking, it's cheaper to apply from Malaysia.
