About:Chinese Embassy in South Africa

South African living in Canada with CA Permanent Resident Status - travelling to Guandong Province

Hi
I noticed your earlier reply to a person traveling on a diplomatic passport - but will I be able to enter Hong Kong and travel within Guangdong province without applying for a visa? I have an ordinary passport. I want to go and source products for importation and plan to go for 6days.
Thank you

Hey, Pieter, you do not need to apply for HK entry permit but you need to get one for entering mainland China.
