About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

Can I change a Q2 tourist visa into an Z work type without leaving China?

I have a Q2 visa and a company in China has offered me a position.
The company has offered to supply all the paper work for me, but I am required to submit all the paper work myself.

Phillip, please visit local entry and exit management bureau and then do what they tell you to do. You know, Q2 type is not a long-term resident permit. So I am afraid that you will be required to leave mainland to apply for a Z type.
