Is this itinerary reasonable in 5 days? Yushan/Mt. Sanqing-(Guilin)-Congjiang/minority villages

Hi,

My journey looks like this
Wednesday: train from Shanghai Hongqiao to Yushan South. Does anyone know the bus schedule for Yushan-Mt. Sanqing and Mt. Sanqing-Yushan? I'll arrive at Yushan South Railway Station in the morning and then I have a whole day to spend in Mt. Sanqing. I want to take the night train on the same day to Guilin North (it departures Yushan South late Wednesday evening).

Thursday: Arriving at Guilin N. I'll miss the first train to Congjiang Railway Station and I think the second (and last one) is too late (6 PM - 7 PM)… Are there any buses from Guilin to Congjiang after 1 PM? Otherwise I'll have to take the evening train.

Friday: Congjiang. Visit minority villages like Basha Miao Village, Gaozhen Dong Village. Do I go there by bus, mini van…?

Saturday: Visit Jiabang Rice Terraces, 80 km from Congjiang. Does anyone know the bus schedule?

Sunday: Look around more in Congjiang County/Town.

Monday: Train from Congjiang to Guangzhou.

Dear TINTINGELING, there are many buses avaiable from Yushan to Mt. Sanqing. Upon arrival at Yushan Railway Station, you can take a taxi to Yushan Bus Station. The buses to Mt. Sanqing are available around every 30 minutes from 6:10 to 17:00. I've heard that the buses are also available at Yushan Railway Station, you may try to ask the staff upon arrival. The last bus back to Yushan leaves Mt. Sanqing at around 17:30-18:00. As for the buses from Guilin to Congjiang, there is only one bus available at around 7:30 in the morning. But you may consider to take bus from Guilin to Sanjiang first and then head to Congjiang. The buses from Guilin to Sanjiang and from Sanjiang to Congjiang are available every 30 minutes. However, I think the evening train is a better choice. For the village visit in Congjiang, it is better for you to charter a car to take you around. From Congjiang to Jiabang Rice Terrances, you can take the bus bound for Zaibian village, the buses are available every morning. Get off the bus at Dangniu village. After that, take a car or walk to the rice terraces. The above information is only for your reference. Hope it helps.
