first time china traveler

Hi.I will travel to China for the first time next week.I will arrive on 19th of June to Beijing and from there I have to move to Suzhou ,I need to know if there is any train and how to take it and should I book it in advance or can I book in the station.Thank you in advance.

From BJ South Railway Station, there are bullet trains to Suzhou North. The travel time is about 5 hours, and the fare is CNY523.5 for a second class seat and CNY883.5 for a first class seat.You can buy the tickets upon arriving at the station, for there are about 16 bullet trains available everyday, you can easily catch one.
