Hello Tony. I suggest you go to Jiangxi Road, the famous pub street in the city. There are many great pubs and bars there. I know another good one with fantastic performances – Club New York. It is located on the 2-3 floor of the Overseas Chinese International Hotel, no. 41, Middle Hong Kong Road, Shinan District 9near South Fuzhou Road).1

Hello Tony, in addition to the ones already listed, I like the Flinders 81, New Zealand/Australian type of pub/sports bar, not the best food in town but a very decent Guiness among others and a good choice of wines too. It is located in the pedestrian way between HKG road and Zhangzhou 2 street, next to a 7/11 and Sondov bakery. In the same block but completely at the opposite there is also the Old Jack, plenty whiskies (and other alcools for men.... and girls) there. For live music the best I know is the Lenon bar, don't know the address but it is next to Lushang appartments, good ambiance there with few expats which is sometimes appreciated. Good luck1
