Tourist for Australian permanent resident with vietnamese passport to Hong Kong?

Hi,
I am Australian permanent resident with Vietnamese passport. My husband and childrens are australian citizen (australian passport). We would like to travel to Hong Kong for a week via Vietnam. Do I require a visa? Can my husband sponsor me? What is the process of doing it?
Thanks,

Jeny, you are required to apply one. Since your husband isn't a resident in HK, he can't be your sponsor. You can choose to apply from Chinese embassy in Australia. If you are lucky, you may get it in four working days. Otherwise, you need to wait four to six weeks because your application is needed to be done in HK.
