About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Can anyone confirm if the Alien Resident Card is needed anymore?

I hear mixed things now. I am a US citizen attempting to apply in Seoul, though I am just visiting Korea and do not have a residents card, study card, or employment card.

John, I saw a post say that for US citizens applying from South Korea, the ARC card is not required. You can confirm this with the embassy in SK.
