Is it possible to send my passport back to Los Angeles for a third party provider to get me a visa?

Hello! I'm currently living and working in Japan. My family is planning on applying for Chinese visas with a travel agency and I would like them to do all of ours together.

Sharon, since you are now living in Japan, you should apply from Japan. You are not allowed to send your passport back to LA and have an agent to do this for you.
