About:Visa Policy of China

Am I allowed to leave Pudong Airport if i am later flying to Zhangjiajie (DYG)?

So i will fly to Zhangjiajie from Stockholm (Sweden). Landing in Moscow and PVG. I will have 8,5 hours to wait in the airport. Am I allowed to leave the airport? I have tried to call the airport with no succes and it is impossible to email questions to PVG.

Do you know if I am allowed to leave the airport? Please you are the only one who can help me.

Magus, I'm confused about your question. Do you plan to visit Zhangjiajie for a few days? If so, you have to apply for an L type visa because the 72-hour free transit policy does not work for you. With this L type, you can leave the PVG airport for sure.

Hey Francis, thank you so much for replying! Yes I will spend about two weeks in Zhangjiajie area. So i have applied and been granted one allowing 30 days in the country i believe. So then its no problem for me to leave Pudong airport for a few hours? Thanks // Magnus Königsson
