About:China Family Reunion Visa

Q1 visa application form

dears
I married to a chinese citizen, and now I want to apply for Q1 type (for a long time to stay in china), in the application form there is a field to fill (duration of stay), what should I write down in this field? can I write 2 years or 1 year, I want to get at least 1 year
also anymore comments on how to fill the application form will be highly appreciated

Pal, you should fill "one year or so" in this blank. The actual duration of your stay is to be determined by the consular officer.

thanks a lot dear, so it means the duration of stay in china will be decide by chinese embassy (Q1 type) or after I apply for resident permit in china?
