About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Coming from JFK Canadian citizen. i arrive on the 6th of June I could stay til the 9th of June.

could I fly to Shenzan and get a short stay visa there as well?
or best to fly back to HK then train to Shenzhan?

Well, Marshall, if you want to visit Shenzhen, you can either enter Shenzhen directly from JFK by air or via HK to Shenzhen by train. After arrival, you can apply for the VOA on the spot.
