About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I get a 72 hour transit visa by going New York to Beijing, stay 72 hrs, then go to Hong Kong?

David, your route is qualfied. However, you have to make sure that your flight in and out don't stop by any other Chinese city.
