About:Hong Kong MTR - East Rail Line

I need to travel from Shenzhen to Hong Kong by rail on Tuesday 2 June evening.

I have found the information that I need to use the East Rail Line, that it runs every 7 - 15 minutes, that the journey time is 1h30. I thought that there was a direct line but have failed to find any way of buying a simple one-way ticket from Shenzhen to HK.

Other information I have gathered from multiple sources suggest I have to change trains at the border with mainland China. From above I gather that the HK section goes from Lo Wu to Central HK (Kowloon Tong??) where I can change to the Kwun Tong Line to go further.

By crossing several pieces of information I understand that I need to take the Luobao Line in Shenzhen to Luohu where I walk through customs over a bridge and to the Lo Wu station (and onto Kowloon as above)

Please tell me if I have got this right. I have not found a simple description of the whole trip anywhere

Thanks

Yes, you are right.
In Shenzhen, you need to take subway Luobao line to Luohu Station first.
Then pass the custom and enter HK area.
After that, you can see East Rail Line.
If you want to go Central Station, take it and get off at Kowloon Tong Station. Then transfer to Kwun Tong Line to Mong Kok Station and Tsuen Wan Line to Central Station, Exit E.
