someone told me it has to done at police office and they need deposit of us$ 1000.00 is that correct

Ashraf, it's true that you should do the extension at the police office. However, I haven't heard of the US$1000 Deposit issue. I'm a little bit doubtful about this. You are suggested to confirm this with the police office.
