About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

HK - Shanghai - Taipei. May I apply to this Visa exemption ?

Hi, I plan to fly from HK to Shanghai - 3 days stay in SH - fly from Shanghai to Taipei. thx

Yes, your route is ok for 72 hours free transit. However, you need to make sure that your flights won't stop at any other Chinese cities. Otherwise, you are disqualified.
