Zohaib, you can apply but I am not sure that you will get it for sure. You should provide:
1. finished ID1003A for affixed with a recent passport photo
2. copies of your passport information page and previous entry pemits (if any)
3. financial standings, recent six months bank statement, for example
4. accommodation in HK
5. your flight ticket itinerary
After you get these documents, you can submit your application t Chinese embassy in Malaysia. If you are lucky, the embassy issues it and you just wait for four working days. Otherwise, your application will be sent to HK. Then it takes four to six weeks.
