About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

US citizen visiting Japan as tourist, can I get a China visa while in Japan?

I plan on visiting Japan as a tourist and would like to get a Chinese L type while in Japan. Is this possible? If it is possible, what is the procedure I need to follow?

Thanks,
Mike Swann

Mike, it is possible to get the L type from Japan. I heard someone say if foreigners from a third country apply the L type there, they have to get the L type through desinated agencies. Therefore, please confirm this with the embassy first. If you can apply by yourself, just go and submit all required documents. If not, find a reliable agency to help you.
