DXB-Beijing-Hong Kong- Dubai

Is it possible to qualify for the 72 hour transit for a Spanish national Dubai - Beijing - Hong Kong - Dubai?

If I flew Dubai - Malaysia - China (still don't know if to Beijing or Shanghai) - Dubai, does this still qualify?
