About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

China Southern Airline sold me ticket then refused me my boarding pass.

My friend and I bought tickets Brisbane, Australia to Guangzhou, Beijing, Istanbul, Turkey return with a 48 hour stopover in Beijing on our way to Turkey and a 48 hour stopover in Guangzhou on our return journey to Australia.

We were refused boarding tickets and had to purchase new flight tickets with a different airline to get us to Turkey for the Gallipoli 100 years ceremony.

We were not staying in Guangzhou on our way to Beijing just changing from one plane to another. We were not staying in Beijing on our way to Guangzhou just changing from one plane to another.

We were planing to use the 72 hour free transit visa.

Martin, on your way to Turkey, you stop over in two mainland cities and this is not allowed by the 72-hour free transit policy, even you are just changing planes in Guangzhou. Anyway, sorry to hear your bad news.
