About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

My wife and son have arrived in China on an S1 dependent visa and I'm ready to extend it.

The PSB says they can't extend it because their names aren't in my Foreign Expect Certificate. However, the foreign expert bureau says they can't get their names on the Certificate. Is it because of nationality?
I need help urgently. Thanks

Hey Stephen, is there any blank space on your foreign expert certificate to indicate the information of your dependent family? Or is there any page for you to make additional note? If yes, I think you can try to get their names on the certificate before extending the S1 type.
