s1 temp residence work?

I'm currently on an S1 as my husband is working in China and I am his dependent. I will apply for temporary residence when he renews his contract next month, but I'm currently seeking work from a UK employer in China. Will I have to change my residence permit/visa if I get work?

Hi, after you get the work, maybe you need to change your current S1 type into a work Z type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB, and then renew your residence permit to work and live in China legally. Just for reference. You are advised to contact the local PSB to inquire the details.
