About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72h free transit

We are hoping to visit my daughter who lives in shanghai on a 72 hr transit visa
We will be flying in from hongkong then flying onwards to macau after seeing her for a day or two.
Will we need to book a hotel? Can we stay with her instead? Which is best?

Angela, you can choose to live in the hotel or stay with your daughter as your wish. Remeber that if you stay with your daughter, you should go to the nearby police for registering yourself within 24 hours after your arrival.
