About:Tibet Travel Permit

I am a USA citizen, I have china visa: type" G2", but not "L". can I joint the tour get TTP to Tibet

Min, I never heard of G2 before. Did you mean J2? By the way, in order to visit Tibet, you should apply for a special travel permit from the local tourism bureau. However, foreigners are not allowed to go there from Feb. 15, 2015. And there is no information when tours will resume.
