travelling from canada to chinaindia - best dates for cost

We will making a trip to Bangalor, India and SuiZhou, Hubei China this fall. The order of the trip is not set - will spend about a week to 10 days in China. Can you recommend best times for travel to save on air flights? But also to experience the area?
