About:Hainan Travel

Wanting to bring my 92 years old mother to Hainan Island

Having heard a great deal about the resort, look forward to any suggestions.

Might be bringing my girlfriend with me. Which hotels should I look at?

Are there any festivals happening in late October/early November

This island is really worth to go. But will you stay in Haikou or Sanya? Anyway, it would be fantastic to stay in a hotel or resort near the beach. If Haikou, I recommend the Golden Sunshine Hotspring Resort (no. 278, Binhai Avenue, Xiuying District) to you. If Sanya, the the Holiday Inn Resort Yalong Bay (at Yalong Bay Scenic Area) is the best choice.

The Nanshan Longevity Cultural Festival is held on the ninth days of the ninth lunar month (usually in mid to late Oct. according to solar calendar.) But it seems to happen every othe year and the next is in 2016. And the most popular festival or activity of the island is Hai nan Camival. It may happen in Nov. or Dec.
