can i complete the visa application form by writing in capitals?

The PDF document does not allow me to print on line. I am hoping that if I down load the document and completing by hand writing in capital letters.Is this acceptable?

I’m afraid the hand-written application forms will not be accepted by the consular office. You can download the form first, fill in all blanks on the computer, and then print the form out.
