Bus to Rugao from Shanghai ?

We are planning to take a long distance bus to Rugao Nantong in the beginning of June, can we book tickets in advance? Which bus numbers are going there? How long time will it take to go there? Can we manage with English in the bus station?

Direct buses to Rugao are available at the South Long-distance Bus Station and the General Long-distance Bus Station. 9 and 12 buses are arranged each day, respectively at the two stations. It costs around 3h to arrive.

Generally, there is no need to get the bus numbers. Just buy a ticket at the ticketing window and step into the waiting hall to find the buses. As I know, the staff speak little English. You'd better have the Chinese characters of your destination or so.

To book the ticket online, it is accessible at the official website of the South Long-distance Bus Station. Just try to google it. Good luck!
