About:China Visa

what documents are required to apply for a Chinese visa?

Indian National wish to visit China first time on business trip. Also inform if he is repeated visitor then what minimum documents are required. Moreover what is the maximum duration (number of days) is issued by China to Indian National.

ASHOK, you should apply for a M type from the CVASC center that adminstrates your area. You need to provide the following documents:
1. invitation letter from Chinese business partner and trade fair.
2. an introduction letter from your company, which states where you go, contact information of your business partner, address and phone numbers).

If you prefer to travel several times for business trips, then you should apply for a multiple entry M type. However, I am afraid that you can't apply because you haven't been to PRC before. In order to apply for the multiple M type, previous visiting records are required.

As for the duration of stay, it is decided by the consular officers. Usually it is around 30 days. However, you can ask your business partner to state a long interval for your stay in PRC. If the officer takes this into consideration, then you might get longer stay period.

Dear Gary, many thanks for your kind information. Could u also tell what type of documents are required for first time or in repeat visit. Documents like bank statement, police report, Chamber of commerce certificate, copy of hotel booking and air ticket etc.

Ashok, since it's the first for you to apply, it's likely that the embassy won't issue you the multiple entries. However, you can have a try by providing a bank statment and an invitation letter from Chamber of Commerce.
