want to know if a scanned copy can be accepted through mail or have to be the original hard copy.

I want to get a Machine in China and the company is sending an invitation letter. Thanks

Frank, scanned copy is usually enough. However, the embassy still has the right to ask the applicant to provide the original invitation letter.

In normal cases, the scanned copy is acceptable.
