About:China Business Visa

Indian student in Japan. entry permit to attend conference in China?

I am an Indian student currently studying in Nagoya, Japan. I have to go to China to attend a conference. Kindly help me with the visa process. What type can I apply for and the documents needed for it? Can I submit the documents in Nagoya?

Preeti, can you tell me the purpose of this conference? If it's an accemic one, then your need to apply for an F type by submitting your passport, a copy of the passport's info page, a completed application form attached with your personal photo taken within six months, the original and photocopy of your Japanese residence card, and an invitation letter from the conference organizer. You can submit these documents to the consulate in Nagoya.
