About:China Visa Application in UK

Family emergency, but no appointments available.

Tonight I had a family emergency and one of my relatives in China was admitted to the hospital. I need to immediately obtain a visa so I can make a trip to visit, but there are no available appointments for at least 2 weeks. Is it possible to just walk in to the office? If I am unable to expedite this process, its possible my grandma may pass away before I am able to see her.

Hi Angela! If you apply from the CVASC office in Manchester or Edinburgh, then you can just walk in and submit the application. In addition, you can apply for the express service to obtain the entry permit faster.
