About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Flying from Seoul to Singapore with a stopover in Guangzhou. do I need to apply for a transit visa?

Stopover in Guangzhou is over 18 hours - planning to get one night hotel -
Please advise

Sherry, you are an American, right? If yes, then you don't need it because you can take advantage of the 72-hr free transit facility.
