About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

COLLECT LUGGAGE OR NOT FOR STOPOVER IN BEIJING?

I'm flying from HK to Toronto with stopover and I will be flying Air Canada for all flights. Do I need to collect my luggage to clear custom or not?

You need to clear customs and go through the immigration, but don't need to reclaim your luggage, which will be directly transported to your final destination.
