You should submit it to the embassy/consulate which has jurisdiction over your residence area, so would you mind telling me which state are you living in so that I can tell the exact consulate?0

As Joyce points out, it depends on where you live. If you live far away from consulate it may be cheaper and time saving to have an agency file your application for you. Some consulates may do same day service for additional cost, but depending on when you arrive and stading in line(yes, big lines) it may require 2 visits. 1 for drop off and 1 for pick up.0
