According to the regulations, UK passport holders can easily get a visa on arrival at the border, so no need to apply for one in avance. With the visa on arrival, you can visit the city for at most 5 days.
At Shekou, Huanggang, Luohu or Fuyong border, just show your valid passport and pay CNY168 and you can easily get the VOA.0
