visiting harbin december with kids

Hi, is there anything to see in the city in mid December? We can only go in December as school holidays starts only in mid nov till end December in Singapore. I heard from my friends that the snow sculptures festival starts only in January ?

Actually, the ice and snow festrival has its trial operation  around Dec. 20-25 every year, so you can still have a chance to see the sculptures. Apart from these attractions, you can visit the Polarland, Siberian Tiger Park, Sophia Church and Central Street. And usually the Songhua Lake will freeze during that time. You can also have fun on the lake.
