Shanghai Railway Station - best place to meet

I will be meeting someone from the 23.09 train from Fuyang at the Railway station tomorrow evening 7th April. Which Platform will that train arrive at or where is the best place to arrange to meet?

For the train arriving at 23:09, it should be train no. K8401, which arrives at the South Railway Station. I remember the arrival hall is on the first floor, where underpasses to subway line 1 or line 3 are easily accessible. To meet each other, you can ask your friend to leave from the southeast exit and you can wait for him or her at the exit 2 or exit 3 of the metro station. I believe you won't get lost. Good luck!

Sorry Linda from Germany - the train is the K8365 from Fuyang that arrives at 23.00. Meeting at SH Station and platform number of arrival is what i was looking for

Well, here is my suggestion for your reference:
ask your friend to get out from the southeast exit, near which there is a Dicos fast food restaurant. I remember the restaurant is open till 22:00, so you can wait at the door. Then I believe you won't miss each other.
