About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

PVG airport (Shanghai Pudong) transfer between terminals & between domestic & international flights

I arrive on domestic flight MU5130 (China Eastern), on 7 May at 21:20 at PVG, Terminal 1.

My connecting flight is ET685 (Ethiopian Airlines) is departing 3 hours later, at 00:25 on 8 May, but from Terminal 2 (I guess).

I have the following 3 questions:

1. Do Ethiopian Airlines operate from Terminal 2? (Your list of airlines does not list at all Ethiopian. It is a relatively new flight to PVG, may be less than a year).
2. If my international flight indeed departures from Terminal 2, what is the best/fastest procedure to follow to transfer from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 and check in for my international flight?
3. Do you think 3 hours will be sufficient to transfer and check in in time?

1. Yeah, Ethiopian Airlines is in Terminal 2.
2. The international flight transit procedure in T2 would be like this: after arrival – international arrival access – joint inspection, quarantine, and immigration – luggage claim – international arrival hall – go to 3F for boarding.
3. 3 hours are totally enough for the transit. So take it easy. By the way, you can take the shuttle in the airport to transfer from T1 to T2.
