Is the North Palace Gate closest to the Buddhist Tower of Incense? I remember having seen a subway station close to one of the entrances, but I can't remember which one...

Beigongmen is the same with North Palace Gate. It is the north gate of the Summer Palace, and Buddhist Tower of Incence is closer to this gate than the south gate.Yes, the Exit A1 of Beigongmen station on subway line 4 is near the gate.
