About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

Will I need to collect my luggage and pass through customs?

Im flying from Haneda via ANA airlines with a 4 hour layover in Beijing (PEK) for Chicago (ORD) via United.

If your two flights are operated by the same airline, and you buy the combo tickets, you don’t need to collect your luggage.
