Is it possible to stay for 90 days on a Tourist (L) visa?

Hi,
I'm planning to visit the Mainland for up to 90 days this summer. Can I do this on a tourist type or will I need a Business type?

FYI, I've previously been issued two L types and one M type, and have never overstayed.

Thanks

Hi Joe! In fact, you don’t need to get the business type if you just want to visit mainland. However, I do think it’s very hard to get a 90-day stay duration merely by a tourist type permit, even though you have obtained three entry permits before. You should provide as much proofs for your planned visit as you can to improve the possibility. If the consular officer gives you only 45 days or 60 days, do not get frustrated. It’s possible to extend it after your entry.
