Visiting daughter studying in China.

My daughter is studying in a University in PRC. Her convocation falls on next June and myself and my wife wishes to join her at the convocation. She has promised to send us a invitation. For applying visa from Colombo embassy what are the documents we have to produce to prove her relationship to us (if any required)?Her birth certificate is enough? Newton from Sri Lanka
