official stamp on Letter of Invitation

My wife and her parents are sending me a letter of invitation because I am going to apply for a new visa. Does the letter of invitation need an official stamp and if so where do they get that done at?

At their local notary or the nearest PSB.

Hello John, generally speaking, the official stamp is not required to be on the invitation letter. The signature of your wife or your parents-in-law will do.
