About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Bangkok to Beijing to Kuala Lumpur. Am I eligible for the 72 hour transit vist?

Hello, I am a US Citizen and i want to fly from Bangkok to Beijing and stay less than 72 hours then fly from Beijing to Kuala Lumpur to Phnom Penh.

Do you just transit in Kuala Lumpur without entering the immigration? If so, I am afraid that you might be refused for using 72 hours free transit. This was proved by someone else. If you pass the immigration and then re-enter the airport, then you are ok with 72 hours free transit.
