Work permit extension

Hi I have a valid work permit that expires in mid July. If I don't find an employer to renew the work permit (after transfering from my current employer) is there any way to extend my visa so I can stay in China?

Si, you can change your Z type into a one-month L type before the current work permit expires, so that you can stay in China for one more month. However, remember that you cannot work with the L type.

Yes, you should do this at the Exit and Entry Administration Division of local PSB.
