About:China Work Visa

I want to tutor english while I am there and am wondering what visa is most appropriate.

Hi, my boyfriend is starting up a business in his hometown in China and I am planning to go with him for a year.

Kasey, you are suggested to get a work Z type if you want to work in China. Your boyfriend and you are not married at present, so it is not very likely to get a S type for you because you cannot provide relationship certificate. If you want to stay for a year, the Z type will be the only and best choice.
