Brain tumor surgery! born Aug 1969

just found out have brain tumor and it is growing fast need to be removed, they suggesting open surgery which i will lose my hearing (permanent) , facial movement, and balance for a long time, but I want to go for laser surgery which does not remove tumor completely preventing from growin, may grow later but side effect might be little lightly. I don't know what to do.
I have never had any luck in my entire life, 6 months ago I lost my brother to a rare disease which he was diagnosed out of the blue and passed away after 3 month.

Is it something wrong with universe or the year I was born in or they just don't agree with me.
what is waiting for me this year? am I gonna be this unlucky for the reset of my life or there is hope for this poor rooster 1969 :(
