About:China Business Visa

I have a one of self-employed coaching tutor from USA

and he is invited to go china for several coaching conferences in coming months, am I apply 'F' visa or 'M' type to him ?

You can try to apply an M type for him. But if you cannot get the M type, you can apply for a tourist L type for him.
